Vintage magazine ads and tutorials targeted towards women fascinate me. It is so interesting to see how much the role of women has changed, but really, how they haven't changed that much at all. Plus, the pictures are just plain cute!
I found down-loadable, vintage inspired art from a 1961 sewing book that describes the 4 steps you need to take to get stains out (so perfect for the laundry room). I downloaded the four pictures, printed them out on grey card stock and inserted them in white frames with white matting. Aren't they cute?!
The website showcased them in fun, bright frames (which I love) but in my laundry room I wanted it to look crisp and clean. And the mix of the modern frames and the vintage art makes me smile.
