Day 3 of 31 Day Spooktacular- GOURDgeous decor!

I'm holding back to post all of my Halloween projects because not everyone is crazy and starts decorating in early September. The following 'autumn' project is something you can put in your home now without people looking at you weird.

Out of all the home decor items in my home, I have gotten the most bang for my buck from this little lady. Every holiday, I find new stuff to fill her with. Ornaments for Christmas, green grass and eggs for Easter... you get the hint!

An obvious choice would be to fill her up with gourds and pumpkins for autumn.

I had to add a blackbird for good measure.

 Have a great weekend!

I'd love for you to follow along for the 31 Day Spooktacular
If you missed it here is...
 Day 1 (Candy Corn Tablescape)

  1. Cute bird cage! Very cool idea :) So my Mom was born in Jamestown. We still have family there and in Fargo. It's always fun to come across people from area's you know :)

  6. Awwwk! I have that same black crow & never even THOUGHT of putting it in one of my bird cages...DUH? I've always just perched it on a pumpkin or something. How dumb am I??? Going to get him out right this minute.

Thanks, Coley, for the kick in the pants. Now I just need a few pretty gourds to go in there, too.

    fondly,
